Cover Reveal!

Amy Orton at Walnut Springs has bent over backward and I’m now pleased to announce my cover for “A Night on Moon Hill”:

What do you think?

I’m happy and excited, and to celebrate I’m going to announce a special contest beginning on “Moleskine Monday” in which many of the prizes are…you guessed it…Moleskine products! (Any of my writer friends who would like to donate copies of their own books for the contest are also more than welcome!)

I was supposed to blog about networking this past Monday, but I just didn’t get around to it because I was so stressed about the cover. So this next Monday, I’m launching this contest to test the powers of social networking in spreading the word about my book.

Check back Monday for more details about the book and all the prizes.

    • Thanks, Tristi! I know you’ve been through so many covers that it’s probably not such a big deal for you anymore, but this was the first time a cover was beyond my control…so it was a little nerve-wracking. So happy it worked out well.

    • Glad you like it! That was the font I was less sure of, but that shows how much I know.

  1. Beautiful cover. It’s always a relief when a cover you have no control over comes back beautiful. Congratulations.

    • And how! I thought I was going to get an ulcer for a few days there, and I’m not the type to worry.

  2. I have to agree with all the comments made on the perfect cover. It will catch the eyes of readers who are looking for a great book to read.

    • Thanks so much, Braden. This is so different from when I self-published The Reckoning because I didn’t have any big group like LDStorymakers or ANWA with which to share my news. It’s nice to have lots of writer friends!

    • I am really relieved. We’ll have to share cover stories some time. (Of course, you’d have a lot more than me, but I don’t mind listening.)

    • Mysterious, aren’t they? I kind of get lost trying to figure out where the clouds end and the land begins.

  3. I am Brett Nelson’s sister and have a copy of your first book. So sorry but life has been way beyond stressful this last year and for the first time in my life, have read no books at all, yours is the first one I will read when I get my concentration back!!!
LOVE the cover, looking forward to the book!
